Tours and group visits

By request, many libraries and archives offer tours and the possibility of group visits. For students, school classes or clubs, maps on selected themes can be provided in suitable rooms, offering the possibility of holding classes on site using original documents. By arrangement, specialist staff are often available to provide introductions into using the maps or the local history of cartography. This enables background knowledge to be communicated that would otherwise be difficult to come by. More information is available from your nearest map collection.
