Atlas of Remote Islands
Play and music based on the book by Judith Schalansky
In fifty stories about just as many remote islands, author and illustrator Judith Schalansky tells of castaways, adventurers, and shady explorers. Some islands are natural paradises, some are barren and desolate, some were once inhabited but have been overrun, and on others, nuclear bombs are tested. Despite all this, the island serves as a place of longing for people, occasionally triggering a strong urge to travel.
