Bernensia Portal
DigiBern has been completely revised, modernized, and now presents itself in a new format. The online portal on the history and culture of the city and canton of Bern provides access to books, journals, newspapers, databases of geographical maps, and related publications.
DigiBern is a website operated by the University Library of Bern and includes digital texts on the history and culture of the city and canton of Bern, as well as geographical maps. DigiBern has been in existence since 2002. To date, the collection has primarily consisted of widely circulated and frequently used printed works. The digital publications offer full-text versions that can be searched by keywords. They can be found via an index on the DigiBern website and are also accessible through web links from the IDS Basel-Bern library catalog. DigiBern is freely available (open access) to both the academic community and the general public worldwide.
